Local Government Week is next week – from Monday, 30 July to Sunday, 5 August – and I will be joining Council staff as they set up mobile offices at various locations around the City.

Council is committed to working with you, our residents, to learn what you want in your City, to listen to your concerns and questions, and explore with you the many great projects that we are delivering to make Fairfield City a great place to live, work and raise a family.

The mobile offices will be at the following locations:

  • Monday: Dutton Plaza, Cabramatta, 10.30am-1.30pm
  • Tuesday: Bonnyrigg Plaza, from 12pm-3pm
  • Wednesday: Fairfield Showground – Pickers Bazaar, 10am-1pm
  • Thursday: Fairfield Neeta City, 12pm-3pm
  • Friday: Stockland Wetherill Park, 10.30am-1.30pm
  • Saturday: Fairfield Showground, 10am-1pm

I will be at each session and I look forward to meeting you.

Another successful #CaptureFairfield

The winners of Council's highly successful #CaptureFairfield competition were announced last night and I am proud to say that the number and standard of entries this year was even better than last year's amazing inaugural event.

I had the pleasure of meeting and congratulating the winners – Ayah Chaker, Erin Foster, Jimmy Tran, Milad Elisha, Jack Brown, Peter Ly and Dimitri Lavroff - at last night's Council meeting.

The winning photographs will be on display during Local Government Week at Council's mobile offices, a special exhibition at Whitlam Library, and on the outdoor screen at The Crescent Plaza in Fairfield.
