Fairfield City Council's Busking Policy promotes artistic performances to activate the following Town Centres at specific locations:
The Policy sets out guidelines to regulate busking activities in accordance with the requirements of Section 68 of the Local Government (LG) Act 1993 which allows Council to permit activities on community land that “Direct or procure a theatrical, musical or other entertainment for the public… for fee or reward, play a musical instrument or sing.”
Busking activities are issued by Council consent with conditions to comply with.

Busking approval fees are waived by Fairfield City Council therefore no fees apply.
