Use this page to browse a list of online links to resources and support services made specifically for young people.

Sometimes it’s helpful to have a list of websites and resources that you can access wherever and whenever you need, so we’ve put together a list of supports you can get to online. This page contains resources and links that you can browse in your own time, or whenever you feel safe. 

Most of these work great on smartphones and some feature a QUICK EXIT button if you need to browse away quickly.

headspace (National Youth Mental Health Foundation)

National service providing support specialised for young people. Access online or phone support through eheadspace, find resources to build your own mental health toolkit, join a groupchat, or find a headspace centre to connect with a clinician. You can also volunteer and share your voice by joining a Youth Reference Group.

Our nearest headspace centre is headspace Liverpool.

Physical Health

FLYHT (Youth Health Service)

Health clinic in Carramar for people aged 12-24. FLYHT is Youth Health Service and can provide free and confidential health check-ups for people who can’t access a GP for any reason. No Medicare card is required.

The eSafety portal has useful resources and videos to help you stay safe online. Includes topics like online dating, trolling, how to deal with online hate, what to do if you think someone has shared your nudes and more.

Advocacy and Youth Peaks

MYAN NSW (Multicultural Youth Affairs Network)

Healthspo

WELCOME TO HEALTHSPO

Healthspo is a free resource for young people and school communities looking for local information on physical, mental, sexual and nutritional health.

The program is made up of four components targeting different areas of developmental health; Fitsical, The Yarn, Food for Thought and What the Health.

THE YARN

Have a Yarn with local health professionals around mental, sexual, physical and nutritional health. The conversations include:

  • Mental – How to best manage stress and anxiety at work, school or university
  • Sexual – What are STIs and how to manage a healthy sex life
  • Physical – How to measure carbon monoxide levels from smoking
  • Nutritional – How much sugar is in the beverages we consume daily

FOOD FOR THOUGHT

The F.A.I.R.S crew represent the diversity of young people in the Fairfield City community. Their hobbies, habits and personal lives capture the different characteristics that can be found around the corner of every Fairfield City block, school and workplace.

The characters are you, your family, neighbours and friends. They like the things you like, they live the way you live. They know you and all your experiences as a young person in Fairfield City.
