Cycling around the City
Fairfield City has more than 80km of cycle ways and shared paths.

Main Cycling Routes across our City
There are three main regional cycling routes east/west across the City:
-
Prospect Creek shared path that connects to the Holroyd City network and Fairfield Town Centre (about 5km).
-
Bay to Mountains (Orphan School Creek) shared path connects to Mirambeena Regional Park, Bankstown and to Prospect Reservoir, Blacktown (about 20km).
-
Cabramatta Creek shared path, which has added to the overall distance of a minor shared path that comes off the Bay to Mountains network in King Park, Wakeley, and connects to Cowpasture Road via St Johns Park (about 7km).
Find your local shared paths to ride on
Council is building a growing network of shared and circuit paths in our local parks. Shared paths are paths for both walkers and bike riders. Use our updated circuit path and outdoor gyms map and head out for a walk around our city.

The Western Sydney Cycling Network
The Western Sydney Cycling Network (WSCN) promotes cycling for health, a bicycle recycling service to the community, and a social and healthy lifestyle.
Fairfield City Council supports the WSCN by providing the clubhouse and bicycle recycling facility located at Fairfield Showground. We have the shared goals of health promotion, waste reduction and sustainable transport.
Visit the WSCN website for information on upcoming rides and recycling centre open day.
