Exciting plans are underway for a new destination playground at Brenan Park, which will see the popular Smithfield sports field provide endless opportunities for adventurous play and imaginative exploration.
The playground, made possible by a $6 million NSW Government Western Sydney Infrastructure Grant, will appeal to all ages and abilities featuring a flying fox, climbing tower, water play, trampolines, spinners, and more. Accessibility will be a key focus, with plans to include inclusive play equipment, ensuring every child can enjoy the space.
In addition to the play equipment, designs also include shaded tree cover, seated picnic spots and ample green space and landscaping to provide a pleasant and inviting environment for all. Construction is anticipated to commence in September this year.
