Moving Still
Moving Still was held within the content creation studios of Fairfield City HQ, where local artists, makers, musicians, and creatives came together to explore the emotional and visual power of still life videography. This hands-on event offered a unique opportunity to bring an object of artistic or personal significance and learn how to capture its story using cinematic techniques.
Participants dived into creative lighting methods to highlight form, texture, and emotion, experimented with short-form video composition and camera movement, and picked up simple yet effective ways to create engaging, story-driven content. It was inspiring to see so many creatives document their work meaningfully and experiment with new ways to tell their stories visually.
