About the organisation:
Position Description:
Sydney Helping Angels Inc is a not-for-profit charity committed to supporting individuals and families experiencing financial hardship within our wider community.
Every Wednesday, we prepare and distribute food hampers to low-income earners and families experiencing hardship in the Smithfield community. We also collect and distribute donated food, essential supplies and other goods to local schools and community organisations to help support those in need.
Role Responsibilities:
The Hamper Preparation & Donation Collections role may include:
* Preparing and packing food hampers
* Sorting and organising donated goods
* Collecting donations when required
* Helping prepare supplies for distribution
* Working together with our volunteers to ensure hampers are ready on time
* Supporting the smooth running of our weekly hamper distribution
