Position type: Animal Assisted Volunteer
Organisation: Delta Therapy Dogs
Time Commitment: Ongoing availability. Once a week (Monday-Sunday). Flexible. 
Position Description: What we look for in a Delta Therapy Dog Team:
- a dog who is over 18 months and under 10 years old who is obedient and has sociable temperament
- a volunteer who enjoys talking with people of different background about their dog
- a volunteer who has an hour or two to volunteer every week.

Position Type: Driving/Community Transport
Organisation: Young Adults Disabled Association Inc 
Time Commitment: Ongoing availability. Tuesday-Sunday. Flexible
Position Description: We require someone who hold an LR license to drive one of our mini buses. This includes picking up/dropping off clients from homes to our centre. All addresses are in Liverpool/Fairfield LGA's

Position Type: Fire Fighter
Organisation: Horsley Park Rural Fire Brigade
Time Commitment: Once a week. Wednesday (Evening)
Position Description: NSW RFS Brigade Member: trained as a Firefighter to fight fires and attend other emergency incidents in Rural Fire Districts. Other roles do exist such as Communications Operators and Logistical Roles however these are based at Penrith at the Zone Office.

Position Type: Mentoring/Assisting - Volunteer Tutors
Organisation: Story Factory
Time Commitment: Ongoing
Position Description: Mentoring and supporting young people from under resourced communities. Volunteer tutors sit alongside our young people to support them to write stories of all kinds, which we are published by Story Factory. Workshops run in schools and community groups in and around Sydney and western Sydney.

Position Type: Heritage Educator
Organisation: Fairfield City Museum and Gallery (Fairfield City Council)
Time Commitment: At least one day per week during school terms, Tuesday/Thursday (for at least one year)
Position Description: Delivery of Fairfield City Museum and Gallery's Living the Past, education program. Volunteers require an interest in history and a willingness to be part of small team who are dedicated to providing rich educational experiences for children. Working with Children Check is required.
