The 2026 Living Stories Western Sydney Writing Prize: Is It True…?Join our writing workshop to enhance your skills and participate in the 2026 Living Stories Writing Prize. Living Stories is a creative writing competition that offers the chance for physical publication and cash prizes from a prize pool of over $12,000.
Eligibility for entry is ONE of the following: • Short story/narrative (up to 500 words) • Non-fiction (up to 500 words) • Poem (up to 25 lines)*Open exclusively to residents of the 14 Western Sydney LGAs.
The theme for this year is ‘Is It True...?’, which participants are asked to respond to in their writing.
