In this fun hands-on workshop, children will use bright coloured paper, tissue paper, velvet and other simple materials to create their own 3D flowers. They can make flowers such as tulips, gerberas and lavender, or use their imagination to create their own special flowers. Children will learn simple techniques such as cutting, folding, curling and layering paper to give their flowers shape and texture. They will then put their flowers together with leaves and stems to create a beautiful little bouquet to take home. This is a simple and enjoyable activity that children can also continue making at home to decorate their rooms or make a special handmade gift for family and friends. The best part is that these flowers will always stay in bloom!
This workshop is suitable for children aged 5 - 12 years old.
Please note that a parent or guardian must remain on site for the duration of the workshop.
