community residents planting trees and shrubs on national tree day

Join us in helping plant 1000 trees and 3000 shrubs on National Tree Day, on Sunday 31 July. Planting trees helps the environment long term by keeping our city cool and reduces soil erosion. This year the community planting will be at the Parklea Reserve, which is behind no. 19 Parklea Parade, Canley Heights from 9am to 1pm.

Please wear closes shoes and a hat, apply sunscreen and bring water. Council will be supplying a BBQ lunch.
