A new pop-up COVID-19 testing clinic has opened at Cabramatta Community Hall.

This FREE walk-in clinic will operate from 8am-6.30pm daily and replaces the drive-through testing clinic at Fisher Street car park, which has now closed. No referral is required.

Fisher Street car park has now reopened for parking.

Cabramatta Community Hall is located at the corner of Railway Parade and McBurney Road. Public parking is available across the road from the centre, along Railway Parade and nearby at Dutton Plaza.

During its operation, almost 3,000 residents were tested at Fisher Street car park over two weeks.

The Fairfield Showground drive-in testing clinic continues, Monday-Friday, 9am-5pm. Almost 10,000 residents have been tested at the Showground in the past three weeks.

Fairfield City Mayor Frank Carbone announced the new pop-up clinic at Cabramatta Community Hall.

“I would like to thank the people of Fairfield City for taking the call to get tested seriously. More than 20,000 residents have been tested in the past four weeks, but now more than ever it is crucial that we remain vigilant so we can stop the spread,” Mayor Carbone said.

“With cases still being found in our community, NSW Health has asked residents of Fairfield and neighbouring LGAs to come forward for testing, even for the mildest of symptoms.

“We can do this Fairfield. Keep getting tested if you have symptoms, protect your family, friends and the community. Wash your hands and social distance. If you are in crowded locations like public transport and supermarkets, please wear a mask. Together we can stop the spread.”

Drivers attending the Showground drive-through testing site are instructed to follow directions of staff at the grounds, and present their licence and Medicare card. They will be tested without having to leave their car. Anyone in the vehicle can be tested, including children. No referral is required for the FREE test.
