Get ready to light up your New Year’s Eve at Council’s most anticipated event of the year! Tickets for the popular Illuminate NYE celebration at Fairfield Showground are now on sale, promising an exciting line up of family-friendly entertainment, food, and rides. Fairfield City Mayor Frank Carbone is looking forward to seeing in the new year at Illuminate with the community.
“New Year’s Eve is an opportunity to come together and look back and celebrate what we have all achieved this year, and look forward to what’s in store for the year ahead,” Mayor Carbone said.
“This year we are again pulling out all the stops – including a fireworks spectacular, plus food trucks, amusement rides, and carnival games to ensure a fun and memorable night for everyone.
“Illuminate truly is the safe and affordable way to celebrate New Year’s Eve. Escape the city crowds and high prices - we've got your New Year's Eve plans sorted.”
For just $5 entry, festivalgoers can enjoy unlimited rides and entertainment, capped off with a spectacular fireworks finale – all in a safe, affordable, and family-friendly setting close to home.
Pack a picnic rug and hamper and get ready to dance the year away at the JRod Dance Party, enjoy roving entertainment and live performances on stage, or get amongst the variety of family-friendly activities including face painting, bubbles, balloon twisting, and inflatables. Bring your own picnic or choose from the festival food favourites available for purchase on the night – including a sausage sizzle and water combo for $7.
