1. Eligibility

  • The competition is only open to Fairfield City residents. Entrants less than 16 years of age must seek parental/guardian permission to enter.
  • Employees of Fairfield City Council (Promoter), its affiliates, and their immediate families are not eligible to participate. Immediate family means any of the following: spouse, ex-spouse, de-facto spouse, child or step-child, parent, step-parent, grandparent, step-grandparent, uncle, aunt, niece, nephew, brother, sister, step-brother, step-sister or first cousin.

2. How to enter

  • To enter, participants must:

Comment by guessing the correct or the closest to the correct number of total goals that Marconi Stallions FC scored from January 2014 to December 2024 during their National Premier Leagues, State Leagues, NSW Premier Leagues?

  • Entrants can enter multiple times but can only win 1 prize.

3. Competition period

  • The competition starts on Friday 17 October 2025, 12pm and ends on Friday 17 October 2025 at 3pm.

4. Winner selection

  • The first 5 entries with the correct answers or the closest answers will win (5 winners will be selected from the Facebook post).
  • In the case that there is no correct answer, the closest answers will be eligible to win. Decisions are at the discretion of the Promoter and are final.
  • The winners will be notified via a direct message on Facebook by 5pm, Friday 17 October 2025.
  • Winners must be able to provide an email, contact details and proof of Fairfield residency to the Promoter to arrange prize collection at the Marconi Club.
  • Failure to provide the Promoter with an email, contact details and proof of residency within 24 hours will forfeit the prize and another winner will be selected.

5. Prize

  • The Promoter is giving away 5 family passes to the Marconi Stallions FC vs South Hobart game to be held on Saturday, 18 October, 1pm at Marconi Stadium.
  • Each winner will receive 1 Family Pass. 1 Family pass equates to 4 induvial tickets.
  • The Prize is non-transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash.
  • On collection of the Prize, proof of identification and Fairfield City residency must be provided.

6. Publicity

  • By entering, participants grant the Promoter the right to use their name and Facebook profile for promotional purposes in connection with this competition without any further compensation.

7. Disqualification

  • Any entry deemed illegible, inappropriate, or offensive will be disqualified at the sole discretion of the Promoter.

8. Liability

  • The Promoter is not responsible for any technical issues, problems, or failures of any kind related to Facebook or the entry process.
  • The Promoter is not liable for any injuries, losses, or damages resulting from participation in the competition or acceptance of the prize.

9. Right to cancel or modify

  • The Promoter reserves the right to cancel, suspend, or modify the competition if necessary, including in the event of a computer virus, tampering, or any other cause beyond our control.

10. Facebook disclaimer

  • This competition is in no way sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with Facebook. By entering, you release Facebook from any responsibility related to the competition.
