Anglicare provides free support services for young people which are funded by the government. The 'On Track' (job ready) program aims to help high school students gain the life skills they need to enter the workforce.

Workshop topics:

  • FREE ID applications (passport, birth certificate and licence)
  • FREE courses (White card, First aid, Barista and many more)
  • How to look for jobs
  • What documents do you need to apply for jobs
  • How to prepare for an interview
  • Resume writing
  • Life Skills

Using an individualised, person-centred case management model the program commences with a 1-day interactive group workshop, covering a wide range of topics including where to look for jobs, what sort of ID is needed, interview skills and developing resumes.

The second part of the program consists of 1 to 1 coaching sessions (up to 3) where young people receive individual support with developing resumes, cover letters and enrolling into short courses such as white card, barista or first aid. All ID or short course fees are paid for by the program.
