A new playground in Nelson Street, Fairfield, is now open for play! The new playground is a significantly upgraded and expanded playground to provide families endless opportunities for adventurous play and imaginative exploration.
The playground was proudly joint funded by Council and the NSW Government and will appeal to all ages and abilities. The playground features a 25-metre flying fox, play zones where little imaginations can run wild, fitness hubs and more.
In addition to the play equipment, the playground also has shaded tree cover, seated picnic spots, green space and landscaping to provide a pleasant and inviting environment for all.
Construction was completion in December 2025.
