Cabramatta Lunar New Year

Lunar New Year is celebrated to mark the beginning of a new year on the lunar calendar, symbolizing renewal and new beginnings. Cabramatta's Lunar New Year is a vibrant celebration that reflects the area's rich Southeast Asian heritage. Thousands gather to enjoy traditional food, cultural performances, lion dances, and fireworks, making it a cornerstone event for the community.

Cabramatta Moon Festival

Held in September each year in Cabramatta Town Centre.

Cabramatta Moon Festival, NSW's biggest Southeast Asian festival, attracts 80,000 participants during the Sunday celebrations. The Town Centre is closed to traffic to bring to life the extraordinary community event with close to 100 stalls, a main stage with entertainment, rides, and a fireworks finale. Take the train!

Illuminate NYE

Held on the 31 December each year at the Fairfield Showground.

Fairfield City's New Year's Eve event attracts 10,000 residents and visitors with tickets on sale prior to the event.

The Showground is alive with entertainment, food trucks, and spectacular fireworks to welcome in the new year.

Families enjoy setting up picnics in front of the Main Stage, celebrating as one community.
