At the Outcomes Committee meeting held on 23 September 2025, Council resolved to adopt the amendments made to the Fairfield City Wide Development Control Plan 2024 (Amendment No 2) and Canley Corridor Development Control Plan No. 37 (Amendment No 10)
The amended plans will come into effect on Friday 28 November 2025.

This public notice of the Fairfield City Wide Development Control Plan 2024 and Canley Corridor Development Control Plan identifies the date on which it will come into effect (28 November 2025) in accordance with the requirements of the Environmental Plan and Assessment Regulation 2021.
The new amendments result in new provisions associated with the Special Entertainment Precincts for the Canley Heights and Canley Vale local centres.
