Council is building a growing network of shared and circuit paths in our local parks. Shared paths are paths for both walkers and bike riders.

Western City Parklands

The Western City Parklands covers 5,280 hectares and stretching over 27 km, it is Australia’s largest urban park and 'Sydney’s biggest backyard'. Its an incredible green corridor that runs through residential and former farming and grazing lands of Western Sydney.

The parklands are now home to some of Sydney's biggest and best attractions like Raging Waters, Calmsley Hill City Farm, Treetops Adventure and Sydney Zoo.

For nature-lovers, there's 70 km of tracks and trails to explore, perfect for walking, running and cycling, mountain bike and BMX trails at Wylde, and the kids will love the award-winning playgrounds and picnic spots.

Western Sydney Parklands is located on Gandangara, Cannemegal, Gomerrigal, Gabrogal/Cabrogal and Wandeandegal Country.
