National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS)- Everything to know about NDIS

NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission - The NDIS Commission registers and regulates NDIS providers and works with people with disabilities to improve the quality and safety of their NDIS supports and services.

Services Australia - Payments and services for people with disability and resources for other help and support available.
State Government
Disability Advocacy Futures Program (DAFP) - The DAFP will support the approximately 1.4 million people living with disability in NSW to access NSW Government funded and delivered services. This site also provides information on service providers
Disability Council NSW - The Disability Council NSW is the official advisory body to the NSW Government on matters relating to people with disability and disability inclusion.
Enable NSW - Provides assistive technology and related services to people in NSW with specific, short term or ongoing health needs to assist them to live safely at home.
NSW Ageing and Disability Commission – They promote the rights of older people and adults with disability to live free from abuse in their family, home and community.

Transport NSW – Provides a range of assistance for People with Disability such as companion cards, Vision Impaired Persons Pass, Assistance Animal Permit, as well as information on Tools for travelling with accessibility needs.
Taxi Transport Subsidy Scheme – provides a taxi transport subsidy to eligible people who are unable to use existing public transport

Blind Citizens Australia - National representative organisation of people who are blind or vision impaired.

Disability Advocacy NSW- Supports people with disability to get a fair go. They stand beside people with disability to help them know their rights and be fully included in the community.
First Peoples Disability Network Australia (FPDN) - FPDN is a national organisation of and for Australia's First Peoples with disability, their families and communities.

Intellectual Disability Rights Service (IDRS) - IDRS works towards policy and law reform to advance the legal and human rights of people with intellectual disability. NDIS packages are not required to seek assistance.
Multicultural Disability Advocacy Association of NSW (MDAA) - MDAA is the peak body for all people in NSW with disability and their families and carers, with a particular focus on those from a culturally and linguistically diverse (CALD) background with disability.
National Disability Service (NDS) - NDS is a strong voice for disability service providers.
National Ethnic Disability Alliance (NEDA) - Advocates federally for the human rights of people with disability, and their families from Culturally and Linguistically Diverse and non - English Speaking backgrounds.
People With Disability Australia (PWDA) - Australia's peak advocacy organisation for people with disability who empower, champion and celebrate people with disability
