Go Traffic will be removing demountable buildings from Smithfield Public School using Neville Street. These works will require a road closure on Neville Street (between Market Street and Oconnell Street), to enable a mobile crane to be set up on the road, to lift and load the buildings onto rigid trucks.
To facilitate these works, a full road closure on Neville Street (between Market Street and Oconnell Street, Smithfield) will be in place for one day on:
- Saturday, 22 November – 7.00am to 5.00pm
During this time, Neville Street (between Market Street and Oconnell Street) will be fully closed to through traffic.
Detours will be in place and alternative routes clearly signposted.
Local traffic will still be able to access the street under traffic control measures from Market Street.
