Spaces and Places

There are a number of local spaces in Fairfield City where young people could go to for work, study, creativity, design and to connect.

Volunteering and finding job opportunities

We’ve heard that a big challenging when looking for jobs is having to show you have “experience”. It’s hard to apply for the sector you want to get into when they ask for years of experience! Being open to volunteering opportunities can be a great way to build on the experience and skills you need to apply for a job.

Volunteering is usually easier to sign up for and can be a great way to build your resume. Remember to value the skills you put into practice while volunteering and be prepared to share these skills with potential employers! There are heaps of places to volunteer in Fairfield City. Check the resources below to find local places and spaces you can link up with.
