To facilitate Ausconnex’s installation of two new 132 kV underground feeder cables along Davis Road and Widemere Road, staged road and lane closures will be in place from January 2026 to April 2026.
Stage 1 – Three 56-Hour Weekend Intersection shutdowns at Davis Road and Widemere Road and Widemere Road and the T-Way. Dates as follows:
- 16 January – 19 January 2026
- 30 January – 2 February 2026
- 6 February – 9 February 2026
Stage 2 – Dates of Lane Closures for utility works on:
- Northern side of Davis Road: 20 January – 19 February 2026
- Eastern side of Widemere Road: 27 January – 9 March 2026
Stage 3 – Dates of Lane Closures for utility works on:
- Southern side of Davis Road: 10 March – 1 April 2026
- Western side of Widemere Road: 17 March – 21 April 2026
Two-way traffic to be maintained under temporary traffic control arrangement. Detour will be in place for the right turn ban from Widemere Road to Hassall Street, Wetherill Park.
