Join us for one of Sydney’s biggest and brightest South East Asian cultural celebrations as Fairfield City Council’s annual Cabramatta Moon Festival returns this September.
Traditionally, the Moon Festival is seen as a time in the community for family and friends to come together so they enjoy each other’s company and celebrate good fortune and health.
These days the event is celebrated with a diversity of foods, cultural performances, the famous lion dances, fireworks, and most notably the moon cakes.
The annual festival attracts more than 90,000 people to the heart of Cabramatta and has become a feature event in NSW, attracting interstate and international visitors to experience the community's much-anticipated "red letter day".
