By Train

  • Festival goers are encouraged to plan ahead and consider all the available travel options. Visit transportnsw.info to plan your trip.
  • The closest train stations to Fairfield Showground are Fairfield and Cabramatta however trackwork is taking place on the weekend with buses replacing trains between Macarthur, Glenfield and Fairfield, and on the T3 Bankstown line between Sydenham, Lidcombe and Cabramatta.
  • Trains run to a changed timetable and stopping pattern between Fairfield and Strathfield via Granville. Allow extra travel time as you may need to change for a rail replacement bus to Fairfield. Plan your trip using the Trip Planner.
  • You'll need to use an Opal card or contactless payment card/device when travelling to and from the event by public transport. Register your details online at Opal or via the app ahead of time.
