I’m excited to announce our City’s biggest street celebration of international flavours Culinary Carnival is coming to Cabramatta Town Centre on Saturday 14 May, and Fairfield City Centre on Saturday 28 May this year, and everyone is invited.

We will be transforming Cabramatta and Fairfield centres into the ultimate street party hosting food, music and dancing from all around the world – and celebrated TV presenter, chef and author Fast Ed; and Italian-Australian actress, opera singer, author, and TV personality Silvia Colloca will be joining in on the fun!

Council’s FREE two-week food bonanza will include street carnivals showcasing authentic local eats, roaming mid-week entertainment, local cultural performances, junior cooking workshops and amusement rides – culminating in a 6pm fireworks finale on Saturday 28 May. There really will be something for everyone at Culinary Carnival.

Fairfield City prides itself on hosting inclusive and affordable family events that support local business, and Culinary Carnival is no exception. What makes our City such a unique and special place is the wonderful diversity of its residents and their passion for sharing and celebrating their culture with neighbours, friends and family.

So mark your calendars for 14-28 May! I encourage you to bring your friends and family, and most importantly your appetite, to Culinary Carnival in Cabramatta and Fairfield centres! I look forward to celebrating with you.
