Annual Seniors' Concert
Fairfield City Council organises the annual Seniors' Concert to celebrate the achievements and contribution of our City's seniors. This is a much anticipated event where seniors enjoy a fun day over a three-course meal, entertainment, and dancing. Visit Council’s social media for more information.
Seniors Week is celebrated in February/March every year.
Council hosts a number of programs across their sites to encourage seniors to remain connected, active, healthy and independent. It is also a chance to learn, expand social networks and share life experiences.
For more information visit Council’s social media.
The objective of NSW Grandparents Day is to recognise the contributions that grandparents make to their families and communities. Council hosts a yearly event which recognises and promotes an intergenerational understanding and awareness of the value of seniors in the community.
Carers Week is a national celebration of unpaid carers in the community. It is a time to take a break and get involved in community events that recognise the important role of carers in our society.
Fairfield City Council supports Carers Week through a number of events in partnership with community organisations.
