Make, bake and decorate the yummiest biscuits ever!

Tuesday 12 April, 10.30am–12pm
Cost: $8 Ages 6+
Learn to make and shape your own dough and colour icing and then decorate your cookies with your own icing and lollies.

Printing on clay

Wednesday 13 April, 10.30am–12pm
Cost: $12 Ages 6+
Learn to use Japanese transfer papers and screen printing techniques to print on to a tile which will be glaze fired.

Make a masterpiece

Thursday 14 April, 10.30am–12pm
Cost: $8 Ages 7+
Learn how to mix colour and apply acrylic paint to canvas. Take home an original painting that’s ready to hang. 

Paddle paddle paddle boats and floats

Friday 15 April, 10.30am–12pm
Cost: $8 Ages 7+
Create your own boat and aeroplane sculptures out of paddle pop sticks and other craft materials.

Happy hoopy hula hoops

Friday 15 April, 1pm–2.30pm
Cost: $12 Ages 7+
Decorate and keep your very own hula hoop and then take it for a spin!! Learn to perform simple circus tricks and hoop dance moves!

Drawing in the garden

Tuesday 19 April, 10.30am–12pm
Cost: $8 Ages: 7+
Using charcoal ink and watercolour create your own collage of the museums garden.

Fun and funky jewellery

Wednesday 20 April, 10.30am–12pm
Cost: $8 Ages: 8-12yrs
Learn a few jewellery modelling techniques to make some funky charms for a bracelet or pendant for a necklace using polymer clay.

Sketching in the museum

Wednesday 20 April, 1pm–2.30pm
Cost: $8 Ages: 8-12yrs
Explore the old buildings of the museum, examine the artefacts of the collection, and learn some sketching techniques along the way.

Terrific teepees!

Thursday 21 April, 10.30–12pm
Cost: $8 Ages: 6+
Go on a nature walk to see what we can find! Paint and decorate branches and other found objects and turn them into teepees!

Urban art workshop - paste-ups

Friday 22 April, 10.30am–12pm
Cost: $8 Ages: 5-10 years
This is an ever-expanding and innovative form of street art, which involves you making work onto varying sizes of paper.

Urban art workshop - stencilling

Friday 22 April, 1pm–2.30pm
Cost: $8 Ages: 10-13 years
This workshop offers practical education in the urban art discipline of stencils.
