Neighbourhood Watch Week

Neighbourhood Watch Week takes place from 3-9 October.

In Fairfield City, a series of events will be held in conjunction with local police and Neighbourhood Watch Australasia to help raise crime awareness and crime prevention.

The free activities will run from Saturday 1 October to Saturday 8 October (see schedule below).

The events will provide all Fairfield City residents with an opportunity to be a part of crime prevention, to take steps to improve home and personal security, and to express ideas and views that will make living safer and more secure in the Fairfield local government area.

Saturday 1 October: Sausage Sizzle Fundraiser for Cabramatta PCYC from 9am-3pm at Bunnings Bonnyrigg

Tuesday 4 October: Official Launch National Neighbourhood Watch Week from 11am-1pm at Freedom Plaza Cabramatta and Neeta City Fairfield

Wednesday 5 October: Police Information Bus Tour between 9.30am and 1.30pm, visiting Bonnyrigg Plaza, Stockland Wetherill Park, Canley Heights Plaza etc.

Thursday 6 October: Neighbourhood Watch Information Seminar/Morning Tea from 10am-11.30am at New Leaf Communities, Wall Place (off Tarlington Parade, Bonnyrigg)

Friday 7 October: Safety and Security Seminars from 10am-1pm at Cabra-Vale Diggers and Club Marconi

Saturday 8 October: Installation of car number plate security screws, from 9.30am-12.30pm at Mounties (Mount Pritchard) and Club Marconi (Bossley Park)

Please note: If you are interested in attending the FREE Neighbourhood Watch Information Seminar on October 6 at New Leaf Communties and the Safety/Security Seminar at Cabra-Vale Diggers on October 7, numbers are limited so bookings are essential. No booking is required for the FREE Safety/Security Seminar at Club Marconi on October 7. The New Leaf, Cabra-Vale Diggers and Club Marconi events are adults only; normal Club Dress Regulations will apply to enter these venues. Please email to book.
